About The Campus
Kongu Polytechnic College is a technical educational institution located at Perundurai(Erode -Dt), Tamil Nadu, India. The college offers a variety of diploma programs in engineering and technology fields, such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science. The curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the principles of their chosen field, as well as practical skills and hands-on experience through internships and projects. The college also has a range of facilities and resources to support student learning, including modern classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and a library.

A full-fledged Karur Vysya Bank branch is functioning inside our campus. 3 ATMs are available. Students and faculty can use banking services for fee payment and personal use both inside and outside the campus.
Dispensary
Our campus dispensary covers 1450 sq.ft with two beds. Medical professionals care for students and staff. 3 ambulances are available on campus to handle emergencies efficiently.
Driving School
Operated by the Mechanical Engineering Department, our Driving School provides two-wheeler and four-wheeler training. License certification is available for our students and sister institution members.

30+ Years Experience Ph.D. | ResearcherDr. S. Senthilkumar, Principal In-Charge of Kongu Polytechnic College, Perundurai, is a distinguished academician and administrator with over three decades of experience in teaching, academic leadership, and institutional development. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Bharathiar University and has served the institution with dedication across several academic and administrative roles.
His research interests focus on solar energy and renewable energy technologies, and he has contributed several papers to reputed international and national journals. He has also actively participated in numerous conferences, workshops, and seminars, further strengthening his academic presence. His guidance of a Ph.D. scholar showcases his commitment to research and scholarly advancement.
Throughout his career, he has significantly contributed to curriculum planning, faculty development, laboratory modernization, and student mentorship. His leadership is aligned with ISO and AICTE quality standards, aiming to foster academic excellence and continuous institutional growth. He strives to create a vibrant academic environment that promotes innovation, professional development, and holistic growth, empowering students and faculty to serve society with competence and responsibility.
