The CIICP (Canada–India Institutional Cooperation Project) Cell, functioning under DOTE, has been offering non-formal add-on courses since 2007 to enhance students’ employability and technical competence. From SolidWorks and PLC to Chemical Simulation and Soft Skills, CIICP bridges the gap between academic curricula and industrial needs.
Delivered continuous add-on technical courses including SolidWorks, PLC, MULTISIM, and Spoken English to dramatically elevate placement outcomes before DOTE pandemic lockdown.
Conducted 21 intensive value-added courses across specialized engineering domains to bridge theoretical gaps and restore hands-on technical proficiency.
Pioneered virtual CIICP batches with interactive guest lectures, expert talks, and structured industrial visits linking students with corporate resource persons.
Trained 181 students across Civil, Computer, CCN, and Mechatronics in domain CIICP courses, plus 784 students across all departments during winter vacation workshops.
Organized by the Department of Basic Science to provide comprehensive spoken English and interview preparation for all incoming first-year diploma students.
